If you’re new to the crypto space then Atari may be your name from your childhood however in 2020, the gaming giant has been making waves in the Nathan industry. In March, Atari announced its token offering and in addition to this, the plans for the company include multifaceted decentralised entertainment atoms that would go across movies, music, and of course games.

Earlier this week on the 14th of March, a new development came out for Atari as it teamed up with the Arkane Network. For those that don’t know this network is a blockchain brick and mortar outfit that provides developers with a framework for the crypto wallet and all the applications. The company also helps programmers integrate digital assets into their games.

The age-old gaming company said that this collaboration was a step in the right direction for blockchain use in interactive entertainment.

It seems like with big gaming giants such as PlayStation announcing its fifth installment in its series, companies such as Atari are just gathering dust. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Atari has grown since its peak in the 90s/naughties and is looking into different avenues of business.
