The former CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)-backed cryptocurrency trading exchange Bakkt, Kelly Loeffler has just sworn into the United States Senate.

Loeffler made the announcement that Mike Pence would be the one swearing her in, to become Georiga’s current senator.

Small Business Administration

Saying in the announcement, Loeffler noted that she has already thrown in her first vote to support the United States President, Donald Trump in his bid to support Small Businesses in a new administration.

For those who don’t know, the Small Business Administration is an autonomous US government agency designed to help smaller companies across the nation.

Senator Johnny Isakson is the person who Loeffler will be replacing after he stepped down in December just gone due to issues with his health.

Trump supporters have actually given their two cents on Loeffler and have criticised her as being “too moderate and inexperienced.” Loeffler spoke with TIME Magazine that she had not actually spoken to the President since she started her new position.

She added:

“I know I have to earn the trust and support of the president [...] And I’m going to work very hard to do that through my actions and my votes, and I’m confident that that will happen.”

It will be interesting to see how this situation plays out. For more news on this and other crypto updates, keep it with CryptoDaily!
