The real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto has been long questioned throughout the industry. Ever since bitcoin was created in 2009 following the financial crash of 2008, the infamous and mysterious inventor of the first cryptocurrency has never uttered a word. That’s been said, many people throughout the community Have pointed the finger at many big industry names. One of which is Adam Back, Blockstream CEO. Given his expertise in cryptography and the mining area of the space, people believe that he is the mysterious Satoshi.

A snippet from a 40 minute YouTube documentary on the possible identity of Satoshi Nakamoto inspired one user on Twitter to claim that Adam was in fact the man behind the pseudonym. He said:

With bitcoin growing every day, it’s community grows with it. This makes it harder to control on a regulation level making the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto redundant as the asset spirals in popularity.
