All is Forgiven Between BitMEX & Binance Over Plagiarism Mistake

Two of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange’s in the industry, binance and BitMEX recently made up following a spat when BitMEX accused Binance of copying documentation featured in its recently-launched crypto derivatives testnet.

The BitMEX Twitter account slated the US exchange on Twitter in regards to its testnet launch and noted that the similarities between the two platform’ documentation.

It didn’t take long for the CEO of Binance to react t the ribbing by BitMEX as he took it on the chin by saying:

“Shame on us. 😂 Sorry about that. Missed this in the DD process before the acquisition (didn't read the BitMex docs ourselves). Will fix/remove ASAP.”

After this, the BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes tweeted a gif of Denzel Washington in American Gangster saying “My man”, clearly indicating that all is forgiven.

In other Binance related news, the exchange just announced the acquisition of JEX, the crypto platform that supports spot and exchange derivative trading. The platform is to be renamed Binance JEX and will offer a native crypto token under the name, JEX. Binance is planning to distribute this via “marketing activities and community incentives.”
