Bullish Prediction From BTCC Co-Founder

After tweeting his bullish prediction for Bitcoin, the brother of Litecoin creator, Charlie Lee and the co-founder of BTCC, Bobby Lee kicked off a lot of buzz in the crypto community starting a so-called ‘tweetstorm’. The Twitter buzz began on Friday last week and saw the longtime crypto proponent give some very bullish predictions for Bitcoin to his followers on social media.

Lee joined the dots between the decade-long history of Bitcoin of commotion, slow bear markets and the amazing bull runs. Lee said that if history repeats itself then Bitcoin will find its true long-term bottom by January next year after it could fall 30 percent to two and a half thousand dollars and the rise again at the start of the next decade.

Essentially, what Lee is saying is that when Bitcoin finds it’s bottom it will stay in a similar state until the end of 2020. By the start of the next decade, Lee sees cryptocurrency next monumental bull run to kick off and will eventually rise up above the $250,000 price region which is over 100 times the price that it bottomed.

Lee said:

“[The next rally] would peak out in Dec 2021 at $333,000, and then crash back down to $41,000 in Jan 2023. Something like that?”

After these set of tweets, the BTCC co-founder further went on to explain the reasons behind is a bullish prediction. As reported by Ethereum World News, he mainly referenced his expectation that the market cap of Bitcoin will reach that of golds and subsequently surpass it in due time. Lee said that if Bitcoin for $333,000 (per coin) the market cap will reach $7 trillion, which is the estimated value of all the gold on earth.

“One more coincidence: If the next #bitcoin rally (in 2021?) does indeed reach $333,000, that’ll bring Bitcoin’s price to roughly that of #Gold, at $7 trillion each!”
