The Bullish Mind Of A Bitcoin Enthusiast

With Bitcoin currently doing less than admirably during one of the worst Bitcoin corrections in its decade-long history, several commentators and traders from the traditional venture and crypto spaces alike have come out with open arms in support of the asset.

The most recent supporter of the coin is the CEO of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) Jeff Sprecher who went to CoinDesk’s Consensus Invest event earlier in the week to discuss his opinions on the market and the space in general.

At the popular event based in New York, there were some of the leading innovators, executives and analysts from the crypto industry. When Sprecher spoke he discussed how long he believes digital assets are to live on noting that the markets current state should be taken in to account.

Responding to his own question, the CEO said that “the unequivocal answer is yes.” Sprecher is known for having a fondness for innovation and progress whilst also accepting new changes to industries. Sprecher also added that the current value of digital assets hasn’t changed his mind.

The CEO of ICE’s thoughts on Bitcoin and altcoins comes during an interesting time in the crypto world whereas many believe has been put off by the current state that Bitcoin is in (currently trading just over $4,000) and the constantly tightening hold the bears have over the leading cryptocurrency.

Like other big cryptocurrency enthusiasts, Sprecher doesn’t seem to go in the category of ‘fair weather’ players.

Sprecher said all of this but didn’t give any reasoning behind his thoughts. Instead, a partner at Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompliano took over for him.

On the early morning show Squawk Box on CNBC, Anthony noted that even though Bitcoin’s technical, historical and psychological past suggest lower lows, he is still bullish on the future for the leading cryptocurrency saying that its future is bright.

Known as Pomp by his fans, he went onto say that Bitcoin is the world’s most secure transaction settlement layer so Bitcoin will always have value no matter how bad things get for the leading crypto. Pomp also added that the market, in general, will remain to be the best performing asset class in a decades time and could even take over the United States equities market.
