“uTorrent Web already surpassed 1,000,000 daily active users! This new product officially launched a month ago offers a #streaming and torrenting experience.â€BitTorrent’s official Twitter also announced the news and stated:
“Proud to announce that our Web-based torrent #streaming client, µTorrent Web, surpassed 1,000,000 daily active users. If you’re waiting for a BitTorrent Web, rest assured that it’s coming soon!â€In June this year, Sun acquired BitTorrent however, rumours of TRON gaining BitTorrent have been in the air since 2017. There has been a messy history between the two businesses as Sun filed a lawsuit against BitTorrent for reasons of ‘no shop clause’ post where he appealed to the court to issue a restraining order against the company. For those of who don’t know, a no-shop clause is a letter of intent which acts as an agreement between the buyer and the owner to prevent any more potential buyers from negotiating from another deal for acquisition for the specific product/property. Around three months ago, Sun received a massive adoption for his digital currency when the adult website, Pornhub revealed that it will start to support TRX for the premium service on the site. A Twitter user with the handle of ‘$andman’ is a digital currency supporter and commented on the BitTorrent matter by saying:
“Since your accomplishing major milestones daily, when will you focus on price a little?â€TRON’s ambitious aim to decentralise the whole internet is well under-way. The currency team at TRON is based all over the globe in major cities like San Francisco, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing and many more. According to CoinMarketCap, at the time of writing TRON is gained 3.9% in the last 24 hours and is currently priced at $0.022 which places it 13 in the top 100 digital currencies on the website.
